Situated on the
banks of the
River Tweed,
Horncliffe is a
small village,
four miles west
of
Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Famed for it's
trout and salmon
fishing and it's
nearby 'Chain
Bridge' which
was constructed
in 1820 and was
the first
suspension
bridge in
Britain. The
village itself
has a pub and a
restaurant,
though further
entertaining and
shopping can be
found in
Berwick-upon-Tweed.
