Ripon City Golf Club
is the ideal venue for corporate days, the
excellent changing and shower facilities
complement the course and catering to make this
the place to entertain your clients and guests.
18 holes 6084 yards.
S.S.S White 69 Yellow 68.
On completion of the first nine holes, have a
well deserved rest with a refreshing drink from
the water fountain or half way house, to prepare
you for the more leisurely walk around the
second nine holes. Golfers should be aware that
the generous fairways, lined with what are
becoming mature trees, can only add to the
excitement of how to get to the green. Added
bonuses to the back nine are the two ponds,
especially the shot over the water to the 14th
green, with the tee close to the club house,
this provides entertainment for those who are
sampling the hospitality of the 19th. Water also
features, as you near the end of your round, on
the right of the 17th green and to the left of
the 18th.
The clubhouse, opened by David Llewellyn,
provides excellent views from the bar lounge
over the course. Local beers are on sale, brewed
by Theakston's of Masham and John Smith of
Tadcaster, along with a selection of fine wines
at affordable prices. Good home-cooked food is
available, either in the bar lounge, or should
you wish, in the dining room which can seat up
to 80.
