This little exhibition
is easily missed in its spot beside the railway
station but it is in an ideal place for
miniature rail enthusiasts. This is a show for
adults and children alike, with 323 metres of 00
gauge track making up the four main oval systems
in the central display.
Also a large N gauge track with a
Germanic theme plus a large area for children
containing Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends.
Up to 21 trains running at any one time. There are interactive buttons throughout. A
large well stocked gift shop is attached.

The UK's largest Maize Maze is opening near
York. The 27 acre puzzle has a Viking theme and
over 5 miles of pathways to get lost in! The
maize plants grow up to 8 ft tall creating a
unique experience for visitors. Refreshments and
a picnic area are available. The maze will be
harvested in October and used as cattle feed for
the winter. The maze entrance is located within
Grimston Bar Park & Ride. Follow the signs for
the Grimston Bar Park & Ride, or catch the bus
from the city centre.
