Dr. Ferrenby's surgery in the Yorkshire TV
series, ''Heartbeat''. All our rooms have en-suite

This period Victorian Cottage built in the
1880's is located in the small village of
Goathland.
The cottage is across the common in the
centre of the village and built from
stone which came from the church. |

It has been used several times in the last series
of "Heartbeat" and can be seen in most of the
episodes as it forms part of the back drop. The accommodation
comprises a double or twin room with en-suite
facilities. There is a guest sitting room if you
prefer to stay in with log fire and TV. At the
rear is the garden which has magnificent views
across the moors.
The rugged country which
encircles Goathland is ideal for walking and
nearby attractions include The NYM Steam
Railway. The cottage is listed in the AA book of
British Villages, a guide to the most
interesting and attractive villages.
