Greater London is Britain's largest conurbation covering a vast area. The central core has London postal addresses with postcodes like "London SW1". Outside this core are boroughs which were once separate but which are now part of "Greater" London.

Here's how to find
the accommodation you want:

First choose the type of accommodation you want from the selection on the left. To help you choose your accommodation, we have classified it into four basic types -

Serviced Accommodation:
Hotels, guesthouses, bed & breakfast, farmhouses, pubs/inns, hostels.

Self Catering Accommodation:
Cottages, houses, flats, apartments, static caravans (mobile homes), log cabins, hostels.

Boating Holidays:
Canal cruisers and narrowboats, cruisers on lakes, rivers, broads, lochs; yacht bare-boat charter

Camp Sites and Touring Van Parks:
For tents, campers, touring vans, camper vans, and  motor-homes (RVs).
Please note that STATIC caravans (mobile homes) are classified as Self Catering Accommodation.

There is such a wide selection of hotels, guest houses and B&Bs to choose from that we have had to subdivide these into those within the inner London Postcode area and those in the outer London boroughs:
Hotels, Guest Houses, Bed & Breakfasts in the central London Postcode area (eg London SW1)  and
Hotels, Guest Houses, Bed & Breakfasts in the outer boroughs (eg Bromley, Hillingdon, etc).

We know that many people use this site to find business accommodation as well as holiday accommodation in London. Usually they will be looking for London hotels, London guesthouses, (also called guest-houses, guest houses ) or London bed and breakfasts (also sometimes called London b&b or b&bs ). These come under the London Serviced Accommodation section which also includes pubs with accommodation, inns, coaching inns, lodgings within London.

For London self-catering accommodation, we list apartments, flats, chalets, static caravans available for hire, villas, cottages, log cabins, and caravan parks which hire out holiday mobile homes in London. These may be known by some as holiday parks which often have a mixture of chalets, cabins or static caravans (mobile homes) to choose from. This section is currently under development.
