This tiny
village in the predominantly rural district of
Daventry has a population of less than 300 people
and dates back to the Domesday Book. It has a
traditional village green while its 15th century
church, St Peter and St Paul, has a number of
unusual features. It was largely restored in the
mid-19th century. Nearby is Althorp, the
Elizabethan ancestral home of the Spencer family
and the late Princess Diana.
