With
a working harbour, this jolly seaside resort
has something of interest round every corner.
The dune-filled beach set amidst pinewoods is
a mile from the town and is best reached
either on foot or via a miniature railway.
Each August the town stages a regatta, but sailboarding and water skiing are always on
the agenda. Interesting properties include
timber-framed Ware Hall House and the
Victorian Church of St Nicholas, rebuilt in
1880. |
