Horseriding holiday activities can vary
from an experienced rider simply hiring a horse for the
odd hour to residential riding courses for absolute
beginners. This section is intended to include
Riding Schools and Riding Centres, Residential Riding
Holidays, Pony Trekking, etc.

Bridge Farm
equestrian school located about 6 miles
North of Cambridge in Cottenham provides
riding for children, adults, beginners or
advanced in groups or privately.
Enjoy a hack or a lesson, both indoor and
outdoor facilities are available.
There is also jumping for more experienced riders.
The school is open all day Saturday and Sunday and
also on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, a
typical hour long lesson costing £22 for an adult
or £17 for a child. Pony Days are available during
school holidays. Please call to arrange a suitable
time, as rides are grouped by ability. The stables
have a wide variety of horses and ponies for all
levels of rider. Everything from a 17.2 hh heavy
hunter to a 8.3 hh miniature Shetland. See Website

Haggis Farm Polo is a family run Club located on
130 acres of grassland, just two miles outside
of the city of Cambridge. Our facilities
include: One of the largest polo arenas in the
United Kingdom (100 x 50 metres), One full size
boarded pitch, One stick and ball training
field, Two indoor schools and warm up area,
Stabling for up to 60 horses and Full livery
facilities.
Set in 260 acres of Cambridgeshire countryside
we offer riding for everyone from the complete
novice to the more experienced. Our facilities
include a clubhouse, floodlit indoor and outdoor
arenas, a sand paddock and a large sand paddock
for jumping. There is excellent off road hacking
on the farm and a wide variety of cross country
obstacles.
