Portland Leisure Centre
The Meadows, Muskham St, Notts, NG2 2HB Facilities: Swimming Pool: a 30m long, rectangular-shaped pool with pool-side changing cubicles. A viewing gallery is available for spectators. The pool is available for private hire and for children's parties with an inflatable. Main Hall: (35m x 20m) with seating for 600 and 1,100 standing Ancillary Hall. Two squash courts with upstairs viewing gallery. Flexible Fitness suite: full air-conditioned fitness room supervised by fitness advisors. The gym consists of a wide range of cardiovascular equipment including running, rowing, cycling and stepping machines, a wide range of weight training machines and a selection of free weights. Revolution Gym featuring Spinning and Hammer equipment.

John Carroll Leisure Centre
Denman St Central, Radford, Nottingham, NG7 3PS A modern, purpose-built facility set in the heart of Radford, John Carroll Leisure Centre offers an extensive range of activities suitable for all ages and abilities. A 25m deck-level pool is popular with those wishing to swim for fitness, as well as leisure. The addition of a purpose-built fitness gym in December 1998 has added a new dimension to the centre. This is an extremely popular facility and advance booking is advised during peak periods. John Carroll has a long-standing reputation for the provision of quality exercise classes. Classes take place both in the pool and in the sports hall every day of the week. The Centre is also the proud holder of the 'Healthy Leisure Award', given in recognition of John Carroll's work towards promoting a healthier lifestyle. Easy access and a large car park means John Carroll is an ideal venue for visitors from all over the City.

Clifton Leisure Centre
Southchurch Drive, Clifton, Nottingham, NG11 8AB Clifton Leisure Centre is a modern leisure facility completed in 1996. A community-based centre, it offers a wide range of activities for all ages and abilities and all facilities are located on ground level. As well as being a recognised venue for sporting activities and tournaments, Clifton also hosts events such as seminars, wedding receptions and car boot sales. Facilities: Main pool. Teaching pool. Leisure pool with flume, water jets, spa, beach area. Sports Hall marked out for four badminton courts, netball, volleyball and five-a-side football. Gym with nine resistance units and nine cardio units. Three sunbeds. Modern health suite boasting steam room, sauna, spa pool, needle shower and a relaxation area complete with TV Function room overlooking park. Two squash courts. Cafe and bar.

Coningswath Rd, Carlton, Nottingham Small pool and large pool. Swimming courses, including crash courses in holidays: parent-and-baby and parent-and-toddler sessions: adult-only sessions. Pool open lunchtime (see you there on Fridays!) Jurassic Fun/Disco Sessions 1-3pm weekdays in holidays and as part of Family Night on Sat. evening 6.30 pm. Family changing room (may be busy at times).

Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre

The hall also has markings available for 5-a-side football, basketball, netball, volleyball and indoor hockey Air-conditioned fitness suite with a comprehensive range of resistance and cardio vascular equipment. The Lido opens during the summer holidays at the following times: Monday to Friday 11.30am to 6.30pm. Saturday and Sunday 10.30am to 4.30pm. 25m x 12.5m main indoor pool, depth ranges from 0.9m to 1.8m. Six swimming lanes and seating for 200 spectators Teaching pool: 8.5m x 5.5m small pool with depth ranging from 0.5 to 0.8m Changing facilities including lockers for security; family/disabled changing cubicles and team changing area Fitness suite comprising of quality CV equipment and resistance machinery with a fully-qualified fitness adviser in attendance Activity room for aerobics classes, junior gymnastics, meetings and children's parties Two quality sunbeds of 12 and 20 minute duration.
