Ely Easy Access Trail

A 2-mile stroll alongside the River Ouse at Ely. Suitable for people of all ages and mobility but access for wheelchair users limited, by weather conditions to the drier summer months.

Picnic site, way marked walks and nature trail through wooded parkland. Site of Iron Age hill fort. Hardened paths are accessible to wheelchair users. Pre-visit audio guide and raised diagrams available as a pack from Cambridge Postal Tape Service.

Paxton Pits Nature Reserve

142 acre nature reserve with two circular nature trails. Hardened paths suitable for wheelchair users but need to phone warden in advance to check gates are unlocked. Interpretation Centre with disabled toilets open at weekends.
