Walking Holidays on trails and long-distance footpaths throughout Wales

Looking for a Walking Holidays in Wales? Find Glyndwr's Way, Offa's Dyke Path, and Pembrokeshire Coast Path!

Whilst there are only limited designated long-distance paths in Wales, they offer some excellent walking and spectacular views. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs almost entirely within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and, as its name implies, it offers lots of wonderful coastal views and plenty of opportunity for bird-watching.

Offa's Dyke Path, 177 miles long, almost follows the border between Wales and England, sometimes in one and sometimes in the other. For this reason, we also include it in the English walks but, as it is mainly in Wales, that is where we classify it.

Glyndwr's Way, starts in Knighton, traverses the Welsh rural countryside through farmland, forests, rolling hills and open moorland to Machynlleth and then crosses the country again to Welshpool, a distance of about 135 miles and just 30 miles north of the start point. Plenty of fine views on the way.
