The towns shown on the left are in the same order as they appear on the Route page. Select the one in which you would like to find a campsite or pitch for a motorhome or touring van.

Maidenhead grew up alongside the River Thames when a wharf and the first bridge was built to span the river in the 1200's. Viewed from the river bank there is now has an attractive 17th century arched bridge in it place. The town has links to King Charles 1 and the Great Western Railway.
Today it is a modern buzzing place attracting businesses and celebrities to make their home there. Within reach there are water ways, nature centres and stately homes - Cliveden, Dorney Court and Taplow court all open to the public. In the town itself there are heritage and arts centres, cinema, leisure centres, restaurants, shops and bars. For the more active there are watersports on Bray Lake and Longridge and two golf clubs close by.
