The South Downs Way

Suggested route for walking The South Downs Way?

Obviously, it is possible to start the walk at either end or indeed at any point along its length. For the longer routes, many walkers complete sections at different times.

This guide is intended to give you, as a minimum, an indication of distances between stops. We hope gradually to provide additional information on each stage.
