The Mid Wales Paragliding Centre was established to address the specific training needs of people who are interested in the sport of Paragliding & Paramotoring.   We are a small business run by qualified professionals, based on the outskirts of Aberystwyth, a principal sea side holiday resort and administrative centre for the west coast of Wales.   We operate both standard and tailor made courses offering professional paragliding training to individuals, groups and corporate groups.   All the schools in the UK qualified to teach paragliding operate under the British Hanggliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA)...

...which is recognised by the appropriate government bodies as the UK national governing body of the sports of hanggliding, paragliding & paramotoring. Their objectives include promoting high standards of safety through the pilot and instructor training and qualification scheme, as well as liaising with other bodies such as the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Sports Council.

Pembrokeshire Paragliding is a small, friendly school committed to the safe progressive tuition of paragliding within the framework outlined by the British Hang gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA).

Chief Flying Instructor Nick Bamber has been teaching Paragliding and flying for over twelve years. Tandem flight is the most accessible way to experience the joys of paragliding without committing to a course. Suitable clothing and a reasonable level of fitness required. Should you decide to commit to a course, the cost of your tandem flight will be discounted. Providing the highest standards of tuition to customers from Swansea and Carmarthen to Mid and West Wales.
