Horsley Lodge Golf Club, boasts an 18 hole
course in 168 acres of wonderful Derbyshire
countryside. Re-designed in 1999 by Britain's
Walker Cup captain and former World Champion,

This is a very long championship course, has an
inland links feel to it. There are water hazards
on the first seven holes, and is particularly
challenging holes on the 16th par 3, 223 yards,

present a problem to the strong hooker and
greens which are of a kind to test the putting
ability of even the most experienced golfer.
Parkland course that uses natural hazards to
maximum benefit. Well wooded, the course also
features numerous ditches and large ponds. The
greens are in good condition, having been
rebuilt in 1996/97. No card is secure until the
testing par 4 14th has been completed.
Stourbridge Golf Course is
situated one mile from Stourbridge on the A4147.
Parkland course, long par
4's and tricky approach shots to well guarded
greens make this course very interesting. The
course is well kept and offers a good challenge to
players of all standards and has clubhouse
facilities.

An 18 hole golf course set in 120 acres is one
of natural beauty, gently undulating and well
planted with a great variety of splendid trees.
A feature is the large number of conifers, the
majority being Corsican Pine. The course,
designed by Dr Alistair Mackenzie, is 6251
yards, par 70, a fair test of golf but the
narrow, well guarded greens have ruined many a
good game.
