Recently published in the Golf Monthly Top 100 course rankings in association with HSBC in Britain and Ireland, Royal Worlington has the reputation of being the greatest 9-hole course in England, if not the world. Bernard Darwin described it as 'The Sacred Nine', which is the title of its history written by John Gillum in 1993 for the Club's centenary.

It has been compared with St Andrews, having been laid out for the gutty ball and it remains a great test with the modern clubs and ball. To play Royal Worlington at any time of year is an experience not to be missed for anyone who loves the game of golf. Visitors please note that we are a traditional 2-ball golf course, so you must play either singles or foursomes only, 3 - 4 balls are allowed by prior arrangement with the secretary.
