Camphill is just the place for you to try gliding for the first time. We'll give you a flight that you will always remember. You'll find out just how easy it is to soar like a bird. You would be taken up in a two seat glider by a British Gliding Association qualified instructor. We'll tell you a bit about gliding so you can appreciate what is going on. Usually you can have a go at using the controls - we'll teach you to fly the glider fly straight & level and to bank & turn - that's if you'd like to try. During summer weekdays you may be able to book your trial lesson by calling the office a day or two in advance. At the weekends come to the club house, or the launch point if we are already flying, and put your name on the flying list. We cannot guarantee a particular time at weekends, but there is plenty to see while you are waiting. Members on duty will keep you informed of your likely flight time. All flights are on a first come, first served basis.
