3 acre, 38 peg lake, stocked with carp, is
open from March to October. Fishing is allowed
from 7.00 until 21.30 or dusk, costing £6 for
adults, £4.50 for concessions, disabled and
children under 16.
Since then the venue
has grown considerably and now there are a total
of 7 pools to fish, split between 2 phase's set
in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.
The facilities are
second to none with purpose built, clean cafe,
toilet block and office building.
Disabled access to the
facilities, and the lakes is superb and every
assistance is available to accommodate
wheelchair anglers. A professional coach is
resident on site for tuition purposes and after
fishing for top teams like Shakespeare and
Garbolino Map Starlets. Car parking spaces close
to each pool and coaches are also welcomed on
site. Bay Malton Angling Club has 37 waters
throughout Cheshire with excellent fishing on
the river Dane, Ribbel, Lymmdam and water Grove.
The fishery is made up of seven, spring-fed
lakes, a total of 11 acres of water, stocked
with a variety of coarse fish of different
sizes.

Midlands Flyfishing is a UK based trout fishing
guide and fly fishing tuition service operating
in the Midlands and the Cotswold. We
provide guided fly fishing lessons and guided
days on stillwaters and rivers for
anglers of all abilities. We cater for rainbow
trout and wild brown trout on reservoirs, lakes
and small still waters.
Meadow Fishery consists of
three purpose built lakes (Mallard Lake, Meadow
Lake and Willow Lake) situated in 17 acres of low
lying meadow.
Spring fed, which
artificially raises the existing high water table
and stocked with both rainbow and brown trout to a
density of 150 to the acre. Restocked daily on a
'put and take' basis and two of the lakes have
islands, which help attract a diverse range of
wildlife. Facilities include toilet, washroom, and
changing room. Ample parking. Hot and cold drinks,
crisps and chocolate can be purchased in the shop,
one of the most comprehensively stocked game
fishing shops in the North West.
Five coarse fishing lakes and five trout lakes
in a pleasant rural setting surrounded by fields
and a large orchard. Good views of the Cheshire
Plain and Beeston Castle, particularly when the
trees have shed their leaves. The lakes are well
sheltered by hedges and earth banks and it is
usually possible to find pegs out of the wind.
At least 4 pegs on pool 1 are on a metalled path
and provide all-year wheelchair access. All pegs
on pools 1, 2, 4 and 5 have easy access in
summer, but muddy areas may cause problems
during wet weather.

Ulverston Canal

Ulverston canal is 1.25miles long and about
20-25m across. It is located just as you arrive
at Ulverston on the A590. Most pegs average 6ft
deep and it holds Roach, Bream, Tench, Perch,
Pike, Eels and the odd big carp which are rarely
fished for.
