Welcome to Lawn Farm Fishery. The Fishery was
opened in 1999 and is well stocked with coarse
fish. We are situated on the access road to
Elsworth by the A428.

Snake lake is
a purpose built 28 peg 13m wide match
lake heavily stocked with carp.
Trevs lake is
a 36peg big oval lake with a large island
well stocked with carp to double figure
weights also lots of tench, barbel, bream
and chub.
Tosh's lake is a 12 peg lake stocked with large
carp and bream. Trevs and Tosh's lake are
primarily for pleasure angling but can be booked
for matches. Day tickets are available on site.
The site has full flushing W.C. and a large secure
car park.

These rivers are mostly dead straight with
hardly any flow, they contain pike to 27lbs,
some zander, lots of roach, perch, rudd & the
odd carp, margin fishing is good with red-worm
or sweetcorn. Normal water rules apply (No live
baiting or bloodworm, 2 rods only, no litter).
Day tickets on bank. Night fishing is allowed.
New Lake
Barway, near Ely, Cambridgeshire
5 acre lake with two islands, and landscaped
surround. Members log hut, 2 toilets secure
parking. Catfish to over 47lbs Carp to around
20lbs, specimen fish in nearly all species. This
water is suitable for disabled anglers.
Open all year. Two gravel pit lakes of 16 and 18
acres set in Farmland. Clear water. Big fish
lake (4lb-27lbs) can only be fished on sporting
ticket. Rainbow, Brown, Golden, Blue, Triploid
and Pike. Stocked weekly with fish averaging
4lbs. Fish records: 27lb Rainbow, 12lb blue, 8lb
Brown, 9lb golden.

shore at Barnsdale this lodge is the closest B&B
to Rutland Water.
Recently renovated, fully modernised and

Holly Farm Fishery has 3
Lakes. Moby lake, Trotters lake and Gils lake.
Moby lake has 15 pegs with
Carp, Tench, Crusians, F1's and Roach. Carp
average 5lb's but there are plenty of doubles.
Trotters lake has 40 pegs with Carp, Tench,
F1's, Crusians and Roach. Carp average 3lb.
Tench average 2lb and the Roach average 6oz but
there are hundreds over 1lb. Gils lake has 50
pegs with Carp, Crusians, F1'S, Tench, Roach,
Rudd and Perch. Carp average at 1lb but there
are odd lumps too 8lb. Keep nets in matches
only. Barbless hooks only.
A one acre well stocked day ticket coarse
fishery located about 10 minutes drive from
Lincoln. Stocked with carp, tench, bream, chub, ide, crucians,
perch, roach, rudd and gudgeon. Set in peaceful
surroundings 1 mile from the village of Sturton
by Stow. Open all year round. For

Revesby Estate (7 miles from Horncastle) owns
two traditional lakes set in established
woodland. The lakes have ample car parking and
toilet facilities. The smaller lake (The Wong)
is strictly for carp members only. The larger
lake (Reservoir) permits course and predatory
fishing (Bream, Roach, Perch, Pike) on day
tickets, but carp are reserved for members only.
Due to the age and size of the Reservoir the
catches go up to very impressive sizes.

The specimen lake holds carp to 30lb, bream
11lb, tench 8lb plus quality roach, rudd and
perch. The smaller pool is a heavily stocked
pleasure pool with lots of carp to 7lb, plus a
few small tench. Boilies, luncheon meat and
sweetcorn are best in the specimen pool. In the
pleasure pool, all methods and baits score.
Restrictions:- Barbless hooks only.
There are three lakes set in a natural valley
surrounded by trees with an abundance of
wildlife, such as kingfishers, ducks, water
voles and a large variety of birds. Features: A
Shop with all the essential tackle and baits; a
selection of hot and cold snacks; hot and cold
drinks; sweets and ice-creams. For the Disabled
- special fishing pegs and facilities.

A manmade 40 acre reservoir offering quality fly
fishing 7 days a week from 7AM to dark. Stocked
twice weekly with mainly Rainbows from 1.25Ib up
to 10Ib+. Boat & bank fishing available. Open 6 days

With 3 lakes set in more
than 12.5 acres Sapphire can cater for all
anglers, from the carp angler looking for that
personal best to the match and pleasure fisherman
hoping for that huge net full at the end of the
days session, Sapphire Lakes won't disappoint!
Holmedale:- carp and roach. Cavendish:- roach to
1lb, bream to 3lb 8oz, rudd, perch and odd carp.
Sherwood:- tench to 5lb, roach, skimmers, rudd,
perch and carp. Pleasure nets to 30lb are
common. Depths reach six feet. Corn, maggot,
meat and caster score on pole or waggler. When
all else fails, try a light feeder rig with
either maggot or caster. Restrictions:- No
bloodworm, joker, high protein pastes, boilies,
peanuts and beans. Groundbait in moderation.
Keepnets on Sherwood only.
Fly tying group classes anywhere in the country
by arrangement, night school classes in
