Ways of Zorbing... Hydro Zorbing: Most
popular ride for all the family from age
6 to infinity. 1 - 3 people, no harnesses
and 20 litres of hot/cold water.
Participants are zipped inside then
launched down our run. Slipping and
sliding, cross between a waterslide and a
rollercoaster. No dizziness just clean
good fun!!
Harness Zorbing: For all those dizzy
addicts. 2 Participants are harnessed
opposite each other then launched down
our run, revolving head over heels. Land
and sky merge into one, intoxicating and
totally unique.
Children from age 6 to 13 learn road safety
awareness by driving real, junior sized,
petrol driven cars around mock up road
circuits.
Drivers operate steering wheel, accelerator and brake to find
their way around a course which will include
traffic lights, roundabouts and junctions.
Children learn to recognise hazards, be
considerate to other drivers and get a better
idea of how drivers perceive situations.
There's a real emphasis on safety - all
drivers and passengers wear seat belts and
helmets.Jumicar
helps to ensure that children know how to act
responsibly and safely in road traffic. Our
trained team provide full instruction.
The centre is close to Bournemouth
International Airport at Hurn.

Medina Valley Centre is a
Christian charity which is set in a beautiful
location on the banks of the Medina river.
Residential
curriculum based fieldwork courses for schools
from KS2 up to A level Biology, Geography, Geology
and Environmental Studies, as well as IB.We are also an RYA Teaching
Establishment for Dinghy Sailing and run courses
for schools and individuals. Another option is to
explore the quieter stretches of the Medina in
open canoes and sit-on kayaks with a qualified
instructor. During school holidays and at weekends
we can provide programmes for groups and
individuals. The site makes a delightful venue for
conferences for up to 80 people on a residential
or non-residential basis.
First Contact organises activity breaks for
adults in a range of exciting outdoor pursuits
on the Isle of Wight. Activities include
paragliding, RIB's, sailing, mountain biking,
laser games, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting,
falconry, jet bikes, surfing, and windsurfing
and are open to all levels of experience.
Accommodation, meals, transfers and guides can
be included. We specialise in corporate
entertainment and can also provide innovative
events tailor made for your company using our
activities and hospitality at Island Events.
Aldermoor Earthworks -
Country Skills, Esoteric Issues & Environmental
Workshops
Farm-based weekend workshops on country skills,
ecological issues & green workshops held
monthly. We are hosting a wide range of
presenters – both national and local – talking
about and demonstrating many different subjects.
Some are animal-based – bats, owls, horses,
bees, etc., others are traditional rural skills
like thatching, hedge-laying and strawbale
building. We also have various events on
personal and land energies, such as dowsing
leylines, ‘ancient mothers’ women’s workshop and
sacred garden design.

Calshot
Activities Centre is the largest Outdoor
Centre on the South coast.
With a unique
position on the Solent, it is perfectly
placed for visitors to the New Forest.
Activities
from Dinghy sailing, Windsurfing,
Powerboating, Kayaking, Rock-Climbing,
Track Cycling...
...Skiing and Snowboarding can be booked as
courses for all ages and abilities. During school
holidays there are great opportunities for young
people, such as Action Adventure Days (4
activities +lunch), one and two-day watersports
courses, and weeklong residential Adventure
Holidays, bookable in advance. Casual visitors can
enjoy visiting Calshot Castle, walking the
Heritage Trail with amazing Solent views, whilst
rock climbing is available at specific times.
