Watersports is located in old town in
Leigh on Sea with the tidal estuary
literally on our doorstep.
Our aim is for you to have a fun day out
learning new skills or advancing those

The centre is a Royal Yachting Association
Training Centre with a reputation for top quality
coaching using only the best equipment. Situated

beach based activities and orienteering
at a variety of locations.
Regrettably we cannot cater for children
under 9 years of age.

multi-activity courses which consists of an 18 hr
courses are run during school holiday periods and
provide a unique opportunity to try lots of
activities in a few action packed days. Parties,

Bradwell originally delivered sailing and
canoeing activities, in recent years the
following activities have been added to the
range on offer; high ropes course, all terrain
bikes, climbing wall, archery, problem solving
activities, raft building, kite flying and
crabbing.
As the acknowledged experts, and with a heritage
stretching back over 40 years we know a thing or
two about teaching people to climb, We
understand that everyone has different talents,
and by starting our sessions with low level
bouldering we get a feel for individual
abilities as well as the group as a whole. We
can then choose climbs appropriate to the
individual participants as well as the group as
a whole. We place special emphasis on starting
with the basics, teaching all aspects of
climbing - from tying on to belaying. It is very
important to us that that all students leave us
having learnt, rather than just having had a
short taster. All Instructors are highly
experienced, fully qualified and hold a First
Aid certificate.
Organising a stag or hen party can be a
difficult and stressful task. Picking the date,
organising numbers, deciding what to do and
where to go…Anyone would think you were planning
a wedding! That's where Whacky Sports can help
you in planning a superb event. We have full or
half day packages specifically tailored for stag
and hen groups incorporating a choice of
motorised and non motorised activities including
quad biking, Honda pilots, jeep trials and
target shooting. With refreshments included in
both packages and lunch included in the full day
option, Whacky will really give your stag or hen
an event to remember.

Mountainboarding started here about 11 years ago
and came over from the states. Looking like
large skateboards but using pneumatic tyres,
riders come down specially designed tracks and
forest paths of different lengths and skill
levels, much like a ski piste. We have been open
for 11 years and have seen the sport grow
considerably since we first opened. It's a
fantastic way to get out in the downs and enjoy
the fantastic surroundings of our beautiful
