The Knockerdown Inn dates from the 17th Century
and is set in it's own grounds with stunning
views over Carsington Water. Comfortably
furnished and well decorated lounge areas lead
on to the award winning restaurant with Smoke
Free Zone Award. The menu is extensive and
caters for all tastes with many vegetarian
dishes and a separate Hillbilly Young Diners
Menu. Outside the pub has a large car park
accessible for coaches with an overflow parking
area, and grounds for caravanners and campers.
The award winning gardens are a beautiful
setting for the children's adventure playground
with separate under fives area. The grounds are
home to a variety of farm animals and exotics
including donkeys and Black African Ostriches.
The Knockerdown is open at lunch times and
evenings in winter and all day during summer. A
highlight of any visit to the Ashbourne area.

The Rose and Crown can be found nestling in the
beautiful Derbyshire countryside some three
miles north of the A50 and five miles to the
south of Ashbourne. The pub dates from the 16th
Century and still exhibits many original
structural features within it's oak beamed
rooms. The pub offers an old world ambience,

The Smiths Tavern is a 16th century inn located
in the centre of Ashbourne in the Peak District
National Park. The pub retains many of it's 'olde
