Aberdovey is a
small harbour
resort situated
at the mouth of
the Dyfi estuary
and within the
Snowdonia
National Park.
The shelter of
the estuary
provides an
ideal location
for a wide range
of water sports
including windsurfing,
sailing and a
number of
available boat
trips and
excursions.
During the
summer,
Aberdovey also
hosts a sailing
regatta. The
long, award
winning, golden
sand-dune backed
coastal beaches
are popular with
swimmers,
sunbathers,
surfers and
fishermen.
