A small market town lying between the hills of
the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains,
Talgarth stages the annual Festival of the Black
Mountains each August. Nearby Llanghorse Lake is
the second largest natural lake in Wales. The
Iron Age hillfort of Castell Dinas commands
spectacular views over the countryside.
