The Old Market Hall is a timbered market hall
dating from around 1600 while the town’s church
has 13th century origins with a 15th century
hammerbeam roof and a 14th century tower.
This is a good walking country. Nearby is the
Clywedog Valley, the Llyn Clywedog reservoir -
boasting one of Britain’s tallest dams - and the
eerie hillfort of Dinas.
