CAERSWS A large village in Powys, Caersws lies in the beautiful Upper Severn Valley and offers many walks over nearby hills and moorland. Its name comes from the legendary Queen Susan but Caersws grew out of an old Roman military settlement. At one time it was an important railway centre.
