Bridge House Theatre is a major venue for the Performing Arts in Warwickshire. Designed by Michael Reardon, architect of the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, and officially opened in 2000 by Dame Judi Dench, this 300 seat state-of-the-art theatre and concert hall is home to Warwick School Performing Arts and attracts a number of visiting professional companies and events, ranging from opera to folk music, and serious drama to pantomime. The Civic Hall offers a full programme of arts and entertainment events and shows throughout the year, and is also available to hire for a wide range of other activities. This beautiful purpose built octagonal hall with its attractive Scandinavian pine ceiling is fully air conditioned and has first class lighting and sound facilities. It has tiered seating providing for 476 theatre style, and for 350 for dinner dances. There is a comfortable lounge bar which is open for light snacks and lunches Monday to Saturday. There is easy access to all parts of the building, and disabled people are well provided for.

Loft Theatre

The Loft Theatre Company is based in Leamington at the Loft Theatre on the south bank of the river Leam. It is one of the UK's most highly regarded non-professional producing theatre companies. The company was founded in 1922 and in the ensuing years has established a national reputation for the high quality of its work. Brochures and information are available at the Tourist Information Centre in the Royal Pump Rooms and tickets for shows can also be bought there. Telephone purchases can be made by calling the Tourist Information Centre on 01926 742 756. There are good views from all parts of the 200-seat single-rake air-conditioned auditorium. The theatre has a spacious licensed bar and coffee lounge. There are generous discounts for concessions at most performances. The theatre is located close to the Royal Pump Rooms. The theatre can be seen from the Victoria Bridge across the Leam and public access is via Victoria Colonnade, which runs along the south bank of the river for about 50 yards.
