Our Lichfield Bistro is situated in the centre of this historical city. Housed in a medieval building over two floors, it retains many of its original features giving it a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Paul Charters is our Restaurant Manager and he has been with Pastiche for over three years overseeing the Lichfield bistro. Our Executive Chef, Mark Medley, is based at Lichfield; Mark not only assists in the creation of the menus for the whole group but also puts theory into practice and serves our mouth watering dishes to our Lichfield customers. Swinfen Hall, two miles south of Lichfield, has a long history. The present house was built in 1757 for Samuel Swynfen by Benjamin Wyatt. It has survived the years well and much of the exterior has changed little. The private dining room is original and its panelling and proportions are superb. The Four Seasons Restaurant is completely panelled in oak and the carvings are attributed to Grinling Gibbons. A seasonal menu operates and invokes the local produce whenever possible and the modern Continental cuisine may feature Staffordshire strawberries and asparagus. An extensive wine list makes joyous reading and House wine available.

Located in the pleasant Cathedral town of Lichfield, with ample parking good and handy and very good value. A good range of starters leads into a fish course which could be fresh salmon in various forms. There is then a wonderful choice from amongst roast beef, pork, lamb, with game in season and fish when supplies are right. A list of puddings lays you wide open to the most awful temptation and to cap it all there is an impressive cheese board.
