Ashbourne is the "Gateway to the Peak District"
and this can be appreciated from our 18 hole
course. Visitors and Societies are most welcome
on all days of the week. We are situated fifteen
minutes from Alton Towers - many parents and
groups arrange to drop off their children at the
theme park and then play on our beautiful course
before meeting up at the end of the day. Our 18
hole course, which is Par 71, SSS 71, is
undulating with spectacular views of Dovedale
and the Peak District. The clubhouse has
excellent changing rooms with showers, a bar
with a large seating area overlooking the
course, a dining area and snooker table. We have
a well stocked Professional's shop, with leading
equipment and clothing at competitive prices.

Set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the
Peak District, Brailsford Golf Club comprises of
nine holes, with future development of a further
nine holes. The well manicured par 36, 3116
yardage course is a delight to play, especially
the 6th hole, which you drive over one of the
courses’ lakes. In addition to the course, we
also have 15 undercover floodlit driving range
bays, as well as PGA Professional expert tuition
including video swing analysis. Whether for
personal enjoyment, competition or corporate
golf days, we will ensure everything is done to
a ‘tee’.

Located north of the City of Derby, Allestree
Park is set in undulating parkland and is one of
the most picturesque courses in England.Set in 300acres of Allestree Park, with
the higher parts of the course providing views
across Derbyshire, the view from the third tee
is particularly spectacular.The course is open to the public and
tee-times may be booked in advance. Golf
Societies are welcome by prior arrangement.
Members course. Priory Course is 6,120 yards
long and a par 72, the Moorland Course is 6,028
yards long and a par 70.Public welcome on 'pay and play' basis.

Day tickets are available and discounts are
available for hotel residents.Tuition is available at around £20.00 per
half hour.
Sinfin Golf Course is a generally flat
tree-lined parkland course with mature holes
that provide a challenge to golfers of all
abilities. It is the home of Derby Golf Club and
is regarded by Golf Professionals as one of the
toughest courses in the Midlands. The course is
open to the public and tee-times may be booked
in advance. Golf Societies are welcome by prior
arrangement.Opening

Horsley Lodge Golf Club, boasts an 18 hole
course in 168 acres of wonderful Derbyshire
countryside. Re-designed in 1999 by Britain's
Walker Cup captain and former World Champion,
Peter McEvoy, it was the first USGA
specification 18 hole course in The Midlands.
The course, designed by James Braid, is 6675
yards par 72 from the Championship tees and
offers an excellent test of golf for players of
all levels.The course
is open to non-members and societies are welcome
Monday to Friday (handicap certificates are
required). The Clubhouse has two bars, snooker
table, TV and an air-conditioned restaurant
serving hot and cold meals. During the finer
weather it is possible to enjoy your meal on the
patio with its excellent views over the course
with Kedleston Hall beyond. There is a
well-stocked Professionals Shop operated by PGA
Professional Paul Wesselingh.
