Set in glorious surroundings at the north eastern end of the Derwent/Hope valley in the Derbyshire Peak National Park, the hotel provides the perfect base for sight-seeing and walking holidays. Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice'. Amongst the many local events that attract visitors are the traditional Derbyshire village well dressings, Chatsworth Horse Trials, Bakewell Show, and the Longshaw Sheepdog
Trials.
