Luxury family farm cottage in idyllic Lyme Park,
cosy log fires, 4 poster bed, sleeps 6,
barbecue. Plattwood Farm is a charming holiday
cottage set on the edge of the Peak District in
the peaceful, quiet surroundings of Lyme Park.
The location is perfect for walkers and was
featured in the BBC TV drama, Pride and
Prejudice. Guests can expect to see grazing red
deer, with lots of local activities for kids
including children’s trails and an adventure
playground.
Plattwood Farm offers an ideal base for visiting
the Peak District and the
Cheshire Plain. Our location also offers easy
access to key attractions in the area such as
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Gawsworth Hall,
Tatton Park, Dunham Massey, Jodrell Bank
Observatory, and Lyme Hall which is within easy
walking distance. The city of Manchester is also
within easy reach.

middle of delightful Cheshire farmland, the barn
sits in a small picturesque valley, off a very
quiet country lane, and is adjacent to the
owners' (Brian and Chris Peacock) 17th century
farmhouse.
Stone
built, and dating from a similar period to the
house, the barn was converted in 2001, and is
finished to the highest standards. In keeping
with its original character, it features
impressive exposed oak beams in most of the
rooms. It has its own private garden with paved
patio, sitting-out area, and private parking for
four cars alongside the unit. There are superb
