The flying club operates seven days a week on
two tarmac licensed runways and on one
unlicensed runway. We are equipped for night
flying with threshold and runway edge lighting
and LITAS on runway 05/23.

The Midland
Gliding Club, Shropshire is one of the
oldest clubs in the UK with all year
round operation, seven days a week in the
summer and offers wave, thermal and ridge
soaring for novice and accomplished
pilots.
We run glider pilot training courses
throughout the summer and welcome
visiting expeditions.
Beyond Extreme specialise in hill launch
paragliding courses, taster days, corporate
events, and tandem flights. Once you're becoming
comfortable in the air, we can also meet all your
paragliding equipment needs, helping you choose
and pass out on suitable kit to match your
