Lechlade is well known as the
highest navigable point of the Thames and provides
a complete contrast with most Cotswold towns,
having more in common with the towns of the Thames
Valley. Kelmscott Manor, the home of William
Morris and Buscot House, an 18th century mansion
owned by the National Trust lie just over the
river in Oxfordshire. |
