Heavens Above is an environmentally friendly establishment with spacious, airy rooms, craftsman made furniture and real paintings, stained glass and solid oak floors (in two rooms). We aim to provide a refuge from some of the "ills" of modern life eg. smoking, television, plastic floors, plastic food and plastic people.

The restaurant (our main business), where you eat your breakfast, is mainly organic, using locally sourced food wherever possible. We have been applauded in the national press for quality and value for money by Mathew Fort (Guardian) and praised (which is not her usual style) by Paddy Burt of the Telegraph. We are in the Good Food Guide and also have been awarded a rosette from the AA for quality food.
