Cardiff County Council and Associated British Ports have combined to provide the first public access over the Cardiff Bay Barrage. The service will run 7-days a week providing limited entrance to previously inaccessible areas of the port and the first public right of way over the barrage.

The fully enclosed 50-seat water bus "Cygnet" offers "pay as you go" public cruises and private charters, with cruises tailored to meet individual needs. Voyages can take you through the Cardiff Bay Barrage sea locks, up the River Taff to the Millennium Stadium, up the River Ely, and around the Cardiff waterfront.
