This charming little
village stands on the Carew River, which is a
tidal creek of the Daugleddau estuary and a
designated Site of Special Scientific Interest
However, Carew's biggest attraction stands
alongside the river the evocative ruin of its
imposing medieval castle which, in addition to
its historical, architectural and
archaeological importance is also said to be
haunted by two ghosts. |
