Lake Vyrnwy lies just to
the south of Snowdonia. It is a man-made water
reservoir with a perimeter road 11.75 miles
long. Located a short drive from the Shropshire
border it is a day-out from areas such as
Birmingham and Liverpool. If you should stay
here it is a perfect base for exploring
Snowdonia and the coast from Harlech to
Aberystwyth.
Bethania Adventure offers
Kayaking, Open canoeing, Sailing and Board
sailing on the lake, with instruction or for
hire. White water rafting, raft building and
swiftwater rescue training on our local rivers.
We also offer the outdoor pursuits, climbing,
abseiling, archery and expeditions.
Canoe & Kayak trips and instruction for
individuals, groups, social, corporate, safe,
fun & professional. Other activities may be
arranged. On the Wye and elsewhere.
Enjoy the delights of New Quay's picturesque bay
from the vantage point of one of our sit-on
kayaks. Dolphins are regular visitors to the bay
in the summer months. Hire and escorted sessions
available by the hour.
