Set above the
picturesque town of Aberystwyth this
championship course was designed by Harry Vardon
and provides exciting and challenging golf to
test players of all standards as well as
offering the best panoramic views of Cardigan
Bay and the mountains of Snowdonia.
Aberystwyth Golf Club
warmly welcomes the casual golfer and is also
the ideal venue for corporate and society golf
days and we provide flexible packages to suit
individual requirements.
Founded in 1885, Borth & Ynyslas is a 18 hole
6116 yard par 70 SSS 70 links course - popular
with the Welsh Golfing Union including ladies
and junior events. Situated seven miles north of
Aberystwyth bordering Cardigan Bay.
Founded in 1902, Brecon
is a 9 hole 6068 yard par 70 SSS 70 for men and
5630 yard par 72 SSS 72 for ladies. Parkland course with easy walking.
Natural hazards include two rivers on its
boundary.
An easy walking parkland
course with small greens, water and trees make
for and interesting but not tiring round.
The
scenery viewed from anywhere on the course is
greatly admired by visitors.
You will enjoy a round of
golf on our course which is kept in excellent
condition. Refreshments available throughout the
day from the Clubhouse. PGA Pro in attendance
with a well stocked pro shop. Trolley hire,
electric trolleys and buggies available to hire.
Putting green, practice ground and practice net.
Cardigan Golf Club,
founded in 1895, provides an excellent test of
golf in a magnificent setting against the
backdrop of the Teifi estuary and the Preseli
Mountains.
With undulating fairways, boldly
contoured greens and strategically placed
bunkers the course provides a good test of golf
for all levels of golfers.
It has hosted both Welsh Golfing Union
championships and international matches.
Magnificent stretches of gorse are a feature of
the course and come into play on 15 holes.
Situated on gently sloping soil the course is
playable all year round.
Founded in 1901, Carmarthen is a 18 hole 6245
yard par 71 SSS 70 moorland course. Situated on
the slopes of the Gwili Valley from Carmarthen
amid some of the choicest Welsh countryside.
Founded in 1905, the course was designed by six
times Open Champion Harry Vardon. 18 challenging
holes, this Upland Links course is almost 5800
yards in length, with a par of 69.
Currently celebrating our Centenary year.
Founded in 1894, Machynlleth is a 9 hole 5726
yard (18 hole) par 68 SSS 68 heathland course.
Lowland course that uses its surroundings to
great effect.
Mainly natural hazards with one or
two strategically placed man-made ones! Practise
areas and clubhouse serving light refreshments.
Visitors most welcome.
