Indoor climbing centre and Activity Centre,
offering High Ropes and Zip Wire sessions,
Artificial Caving system and a full range of off
site activities. Rock Climbing, Treasure Hunts,
Survival Camps and Coasteering. It also offers
residential and School learning days/weeks.
During the year we run open courses for
individuals and families. We will take anyone,
unaccompanied, from 9 years old upwards. Courses
are arranged so that children and adults are
treated separately. The only overlap is on
specific family weeks. Unaccompanied children
are fully catered for with a member of our staff
allocated as the group leader and available 24
hours a day. The Activities: The programme is
planned in advance so it is not possible to
satisfy every individual request. However, with
a different activity each half day and a lesser
one each evening, then most wishes are
satisfied. The week always includes: Abseiling,
Surfing, Archery, High Ropes, Assault Course and
Canoeing. Plus a selection from the brochure
which includes: The Big Zipwire, Surf Skiing,
Orienteering, Climbing and Rafting.
A Christian Outdoor Centre catering for groups
of young people from youth clubs, schools,
church groups and youth organisations. It is a
non-profit making registered charity, conceived,
set up and run by committed Christians. A warm
welcome is extended to all groups whether
Christian based or not. The Centre is a
converted Rectory opened in 1978, running a wide
range of activities for groups. A wide range of
activities can be enjoyed during a visit to the
house, such as Kayaking, Canoeing, Rock Climbing
and Abseiling, Surfing, Mountain Biking, Crate
Tower Building, Sailing, Initiative Games,
Archery and Orienteering. Every effort is made
by our fully qualified staff to make the
activities suitable and safe for all ages and
abilities. Complete novices can undertake any
activity and obtain considerable achievement and
satisfaction.

Paintball can be enjoyed by nearly everyone,
especially at Survival Paintball, where we have
been running games on our superb 20 acre
woodland site since 1988. Our experience, state
of the art equipment and focus on safety means
players of all ages and abilities can get on
with the serious business of having fun. You
will not find a paintball site to match ours.
Twenty acres of natural woodland in the heart of
North Devon makes it a truly rural setting, but
that doesn't mean you will have to rough it. Our
hard-core car park and reception area are
floodlit and protected by 3m high safety
netting. We have a large undercover HQ hut where
you can enjoy FREE tea, coffee and juice all
day, and keep your energy levels up with hot or
cold snacks from our 'tuck shop'. Plus a good
lunch is included for all-day bookings.
Yenworthy Lodge is registered with the Adventure
Activities Licensing Authority as licensed to
provide specified activities under the following
headings: kayaking, open canoeing, paddle
surfing, improvised rafting, sailing, rock
climbing, abseiling, sea level traversing, gorge
scrambling, hill walking and mountaineering,
mountain biking and caving.
