Surfing, etc. in the South East Devon area. Included are
schools providing courses and equipment hire, yacht
charter, etc

Paignton Canoe Club exists in order to:
Stimulate interest in canoeing locally, Provide
regular opportunities for its members to enjoy
all aspects of this activity in a way that is
safe and fun for all, Encourage interest in
everyone; male or female, young or old, novice
or experienced. Activities covered by the club
include: River touring, White water river, Sea
touring, Surfing, Swimming pool canoe practice,
Canoe polo, Canoe camping.
Sunfish is
owned and skippered by Mike Weathersbee.
An SAA Diving Instructor (holding
additional qualifications with GUE, IANTD,
TDI, ANDI, PADI and NAUI) and RYA
Commercially Endorsed and Qualified.
Mike has nearly 20 years experience of
diving and skippering RIBs in the UK.
Sunfish was custom built for diving, and as a
result we cater for all types of diver.
If this means scuba diving, we can cater for
novice open water divers through to Instructor
(who are welcome to use Sunfish as their base for
running courses).
If you are a free diver or snorkeller we can
provide sites for any depth you may require.
Dive trips can be arranged (day or night) for any
day or time to suit you.
Sunfish is based in Brixham on the English
Riviera, but makes regular trips to Plymouth.
A PADI 5 star IDC centre, on the edge of the
teign estuary. With a dive boat for charter,
accommodation available and diving courses for
beginners upwards. The world's fastest growing
watersport in Teignmouth.
Meetings take place every Wednesday from 8– 9pm
at the Tadpool in Totnes or socialising at the
Clubhouse at Dartington (Shinner's Bridge) from

between Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, at the
Quaywest Beach Resort, the premier beach in the
bay with wonderful facilities for all. We can
offer an excellent range of Watersports for the
whole family, and welcome beginners and experts
alike. Come water-skiing or wakeboarding behind
our new Boston Whaler, thrill to the excitement
of a Ringo Ride or take an exhilarating trip in
the speedboat along the beautiful rugged
coastline of TORBAY. You can charter our boat
and driver and go off and play or take a trip to
a local beauty spot, check out Brixham Harbour,
or take in a pint at a waters edge pub!

including Greece, Turkey and Caribbean. In
addition to individuals and families, we also
arrange corporate, group or celebration
packages, with windsurfing and water skiing form

Power Kiting and Kite Buggyingare easy to learn
and fun to do, they are also a great way to keep
fit, whether just flying, scudding or using a
buggy. Kite Surfing however, is an extreme sport
and it should not be attempted without
instruction and supervision. Once mastered it is
extremely exhilarating, with lots of fast runs
and lots of airtime (if you wish) a real
adrenaline sport. You should never attempt to
kitesurf until you have completely mastered the
control of the kite on land. Kite Surfing should
not be attempted without a rescue craft at hand.
Windsurfing is fun to do and easy to learn with
expert tuition, we can teach all ages, but an
ability to swim is essential.
