Indoor bowling
facilities to able and disabled persons. A team
of qualified coaches offer coaching in bowls to
children from 11 years of age.
Several competitors
attended County events and one gained a place at
the Regional School of Excellence. Junior League
matches take place on Sunday mornings during the
indoor season. Full restaurant and bar
facilities available.
Established in 1913, Our clubhouse and bowling
green is located at the Recreation Ground just
off Vigo Rd, Andover. The social club and
clubhouse are open daily from 2.00 pm till late.
New members welcome.
Lawn bowls club. Private members club open
throughout the year. Bar, snooker, darts.
Outdoor flat green bowls available
April-September for men and women, including
juniors 12 years and over.
Lawn and shortmat bowls club. The green is open
to members to use for practice and play whenever
rinks are not being used for official fixtures
with play starting at 2pm during the week and at
10am at weekends. Club nights, where members can
get together for a friendly "roll-up" and some
practice, are held on Mondays at 6:00 o'clock
and Tuesday afternoons at 2:00. Novice bowlers
are welcome and there is free coaching available
on most Monday evenings. Novices are able to use
the club bowls for a trial period. Licensed bar.
