Activity Centres throughout Bournemouth offering outdoor pursuits such as climbing,
canoeing, survival & adventure training, quad-biking, paint ball,
survival courses, team-building exercises, assault
courses, etc.

Children from age 6 to 13 learn road safety
awareness by driving real, junior sized,
petrol driven cars around mock up road
circuits.Drivers operate steering wheel, accelerator and brake to find
their way around a course which will include
traffic lights, roundabouts and junctions.
Children learn to recognise hazards, be
considerate to other drivers and get a better
idea of how drivers perceive situations.
There's a real emphasis on safety - all
drivers and passengers wear seat belts and
helmets.Jumicar
helps to ensure that children know how to act
responsibly and safely in road traffic. Our
trained team provide full instruction.
The centre is close to Bournemouth
International Airport at Hurn.
HENGISTBURY HEAD OUTDOOR
EDUCATION & FIELD STUDIES CENTRE
Situated on the shores of Christchurch Harbour,
the centre runs outdoor pursuits and
environmental activities for schools during the
school day. It also runs courses for groups,
organisations and the public. Courses include
sailing, kayaking, canoeing, raft building, team
building, powerboating, first aid, multi
activity and action adventure days. The Centre
also provides instructor courses in sailing and
kayaking. There are also boredom buster and
environmental courses for 7-9yr olds in the
holidays The Centre is an RYA training centre and is licensed with the
Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. also
