Originally built as an inn by soldiers returning from the battle of Culloden, the Dunalastair was transformed into a Victorian hotel in the early 1880's. Today, the hotel still retains all of its Victorian Charm and old-world character. Guest facilities include a comfortable lounge area with bar, Oak Panelled Dining room and a Whisky Bar with a fine selection of over 70 Malts.

The hotels 25 bedrooms are all individually styled, most rooms boast fine views over the village and surrounding countryside and for extra comfort some rooms feature Four Poster and larger than normal beds.

Stroll by the waterside, climb a peak, cast a line, sail the loch, white-water raft or simply enjoy the luxurious surroundings of the hotel.
