Formed in 1877, Dornoch
has now been a Royal club for over 100 years! A
Royal title means exceptional standards and we
always aim to exceed the expectations of our
frequent visitors and loyal members.
However, we aim to do this
in a relaxed, informal environment with an
emphasis on traditional highland hospitality.
Royal Dornoch has a modern clubhouse and
everyone is welcome to enjoy the facilities. We
have a generously stocked bar and a restaurant
serving anything from hot filled rolls to a full
dinner menu. And for those who don’t golf,
Dornoch’s superb ‘blue flag’ beaches and
historic old town are just a short walk away.
Royal Dornoch is only 45 miles from the bustling
city of Inverness, but is a true haven of peace,
tranquillity and, of course, world class golf.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Opened in 1998 by HRH
Prince Andrew and set in the beauty of the
Scottish Highlands, the course is an
exceptionally picturesque nine hole course. The
course is picturesque with alternate tees for
the second nine to lend a bit of variety to your
round.
With a Par 70 for men

stroke index 66 for women and comprises of a
variety of holes some skirting the shores of
Loch Broom. With the famous weather in the
Scottish Highlands can add extra sport to the
game, but this can only enhance the nature of
play but also accentuate the beauty and wildness
of the environment. We also have a modern
clubhouse and large car park and with practise
area with tea and coffee available.
Caithness is the region
of Scotland found in the extreme northeast
corner of the UK. Established in 1870, the
course is one in the classical links tradition-
'linking' the land to the sea.
The layout is traditional
in style. Nine holes run out along the coast,
slightly inland, the ninth green being the
furthest point of the course from the clubhouse.
The second nine are a true returning nine,
running back along the coast. This kind of
layout means that on the majority of
wind-dominated seaside days, the two nines will
be played under quite different conditions.
Links course. 9 holes 6,123 yards. SSS: 71.
