Glenbrittle Campsite
on the Isle of Skye is probably one of the most
idyllic settings for a campsite being on the
shore of Loch Brittle and at the base of the
Black Cuillins.
Located on the West
coast of the Isle of Skye, immediately to the
South-west of the Cuillins is some of the finest
rock climbing in Britain and extremely
spectacular scenery.

The
site has an undoubted following from
devotees of "The natural site" being set in
an environment which is as near to wild
camping as possible yet with amenities at
hand. |
Amenities include electric hook ups, toilet
block with free hot showers and a "Mini-Mart".
The "Mini Mart" provides most everyday needs
from fresh and canned food, fresh vegetables,
milk & butter as well as fresh bread, cold
drinks and ice cream. Camping and climbing
equipment (the sort of items overlooked and left
at home!) are always on sale as are gifts and
souvenirs. Glenbrittle campsite is an ideal base
for taking on the Cuillin Ridge or more gentle
walks in the corries and glens for the less
ambitious.

Staffin Campsite offers
a warm welcome for that Highland getaway and
holiday retreat, for both young and old. The
Trotternish Ridge sets a back-drop to the
campsite while the Hebridean Minch cuts through
the beauty of the peaceful highland retreat
close to Staffin Bay.
Staffin is situated 16
miles north of Portree and falls amongst some of
the most rugged, yet breath-taking and beautiful
scenery on the island. The camp site has modern
toilet facilities with free hot showers and hair

ladies & gents toilet block. Both hard standing
and grassed areas with electrical hook-ups for
either caravans or tents. There is also picnic
area at seashore with views across the Minch and
of the ferry coming and going. Camping is also
available at seashore. The site is Open all year.
Cycles can also be hired including mountain bikes,
tourers, some children's bikes and trailer for
toddlers.
