This historic
Galloway Inn began trading about 1813,
you can sit either in our lounges or out
beside the Solway, to see the birds wheel
above the Solway during their migrations.
Visitors come a great distance to watch
the birds here and at nearby Nature
Reserves. |

The Steamboat is renowned for its excellent food;
visitors and guests can choose their favourite bar
lunch or evening meal from the extensive menus.
Meals are served in the Public Bar with its real
fire, in the Lounge or in the Dining Room. The
spacious and tastefully-decorated Dining Room can
accommodate 50 covers and is the ideal setting for
an evening meal or social event.
Both rooms have en-suite with colour TV,
tea/coffee-making facilities. Fully fitted
self-contained annexe (The Auld Byre). Sleeps 2-4.
For weekly lets throughout the year and short
breaks at specific times. Bar Lunches and Evening
Meals - extensive menu. Dining Room / Function
