Lionsgate is a family run riding school situated in the Ayrshire countryside, 4 miles from Ayr town centre. It is a fully licensed riding school and is inspected on a regular basis by South Ayrshire Council. Lionsgate is open all year round, with an outdoor school and clean, tidy stables and yard. The services we provide include riding lessons, children’s riding holidays, livery, schooling, preparation and breaking.

Heat lights and an Equissage massage machine. Visiting instructors provide tuition and clinics on a regular basis.

Shanter Riding Centre is based nearby the sandy beach of Maidens and the Culzean Country Park. That's where the fun is! Riding along the wonderful beach or Country Park or taking riding lessons, Shanter caters for beginners, intermediate and experienced riders. We are delighted to welcome both children and adults. Heather Young is a BHSII instructor.
