Ayrshire & The Isle of Arran
Golf Courses, Clubs,
Driving Ranges
The course at Beith
Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 68, hilly parkland
course with spectacular views over the Clyde
Coast and surrounding areas.
Converted to 18 holes in 1996 with the addition
of 9 new holes, the rolling fairways, small
undulating greens, along with the strong winds
that generally prevail, ensure the course is a
tough, but fair test for golfers of all levels.
The course is always well maintained and with
the ongoing improvements to the new holes, these
factors ensure the course is an enjoyable one to
play and will continue to improve. Visitors are
welcome during the week and on Sundays with
little restriction on play during that time,
with various packages available to group parties
on request from the Club Secretary.

Lochranza Golf Course
has been developed within the existing landscape
in much the same way as the original Scottish
seaside courses were created over 100 years ago
but with the benefit of hindsight and a fertile
imagination.
The result is something quite unique, different
from probably any other golf course in the
World, and in this setting is really quite
spectacular.
The setting of Lochranza Village and the Golf
Course within it is idyllic. Steep mountain
slopes surround three sides with the fourth
opening to the Kilbrannen Sound. Playing on the
Golf Course in these surroundings with a
spectacular view in every direction and the
relaxing company of the multitude of wildlife is
surely the nearest thing to Heaven? 18 holes
from 18 tees to 12 greens (six single six
double) designed to be different 5470 yards 5033
metres. S.S.S. 70.
Lamlash Golf
Course is a delightful Par 64 - 18 hole,
golf course.
Set on the hillside above the village of
Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, there are
some spectacular views overlooking the
Clyde Estuary and the Ayrshire coast.
With its lush fairways and beautiful greens,
Lamlash Golf Course stands head and shoulders
above the other courses on Arran and really is a
must play course in the west of Scotland. Although
quite short in distance, measuring at some 4,640
yds, it offers a serious challenge for golfers of
all abilities. Clubhouse facilities include Lounge
Bar, with balcony over looking the 1st Tee and
18th Green, Conference Room, and a large
Restaurant facility. The lower level comprises of
3 new locker rooms that have showering and
changing facilities. Also situated on the lower
level by the 1st Tee is a well-equipped beginner's
shop where merchandise such as club Polo shirts
can be purchased. Electric buggy hire and club
rental is also available.
Kilbirnie Place is a
par 69 parkland course. It compensates for its
lack of length with some very tricky greens and
natural hazards. This includes Jocks Burn, that
winds its way through the opening and finishing
holes.
