The Arran Outdoor Education Resource is
registered with the Adventure Activities
Licensing Authority as licensed to provide
specific activities under the following
headings: Kayaking, Paddle Surfing, Sailing,
Windsurfing, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Gorge
Scrambling, Off-Road Cycling, Hill Walking &
Mountaineering.
A small craft studios / gift shop is located in
Shiskine Valley, just north of the village of
Shiskine and 20 minutes from Brodick. As well as
retail outlets, there are facilities for
children - an adventure playground and quad
bikes (also for adults!). There is also an
indoor playbarn and coffee shop.
