by the Scottish Tourist Board with a three star
rating. The Scottish Borders has an impressive
history with castles and manors relating to
prominent figures such as Mary Queen of Scots,
Robert the Bruce and Sir Walter Scott all within
easy reach. Slightly further a field is the famed
Rosslyn Chapel (featured in Dan Browns "Da Vinci
code"). The surrounding area is a haven for
activities such as kayaking, riding, golfing,
